This camp is all about the awesome creatures in our backyard. Between the little bugs in pond water to the tallest trees in the forest, our backyards are alive and waiting to be explored. We will take a field trip to Fort Des Moines Park to look high and low at all the amazing wildlife right in the Zooís backyard!

Are bats really blind? Are camel humps really full of water? Join us as we confirm or bust some of the well-known animal myths. We'll tour the Zoo and talk with zookeepers to find out the truth behind the animal lore. We will research, write and record our very own Mythbusters episode that focuses on the animals that are found at the Blank Park Zoo!
