This club is for students who loves to write and dreams of being published! Students explore their inner voice, passions, and creativity through writing, on a journey to becoming a published author. Writers are guided through the writing process by Maury's Ms. Forbes, as well as special guest authors and illustrators. Students gather ideas, plan what and how to write, draft stories, and revise and edit like professional authors. All their hard work leads to a final product, a professionally published book! We will share our learning and writing on a blog to be shared with families and the Maury community!

Know Obstacles is an obstacle course training/parkour class. Fun Fit is a great way to have fun while getting fit! Ms. Houston leads students through a structured circuit training program designed to encourage physical activity and enhance athletic performance. Students rotate between stations that target and improve each performance skill; coordination, flexibility, balance, strength, speed, and endurance. Exercises are modified to suit a variety of fitness levels. Students will complete the program feeling stronger, healthier and more confident!
