Core Drawing Summer Camp, ages 6 to 14 - Week of June 3 (4 days) -- Summer 2013
The Sketch Collective is thrilled to offer a Core Drawing Camp for mixed ages (from ages 6 to 14) this summer of 2013! We will focus on basic drawing skills from still life and drawing from observation. We are mixed age to accommodate siblings.
We will also visit a nearby park within walking distance for outdoor recreation time and to practice new drawing skills in an outdoor setting. Please send your camper with layers of clothes and a brown-bag lunch.
Hours: 9am to 1pm, starting and ending at our studio located at Geary and Commonwealth. Please note that this will be a four day camp -- Monday through Thursday ONLY, no camp on Friday.
Teacher/camper ratio is 1 to 4, 8 campers total. (Note: extended care before and after camp available by prior arrangement, for an additional fee.)

Recycled Arts Summer Camp for ages 6 to 14 - Week of June 10 -- Summer 2013
The Sketch Collective is thrilled to offer Recycled Arts Camp for mixed ages (from ages 6 to 14) this summer of 2013! We will be using old, used, found, recycled and repurposed materials to create new, vibrant works of art. Projects will vary depending on materials available and class interest but may include making collages, sketchbooks, recycled jewelry and accessories, masks, costumes or new garments out of old clothes. Be ready to experiment!
This camp will also include a visit to the deYoung museum and/or Legion of Honor and outdoor play and recreation time.

Cartooning Summer Camp for ages 8 to 14 -Week of August 5 (4 days) -Summer 2013
The Sketch Collective is thrilled to offer a Cartooning Camp for ages 8 to 14 this summer of 2013! We will focus on basic cartooning and storyboarding skills.
This camp will be limited to 8 students total to preserve a 1:4 teaching and supervision ratio. We will also visit the SF Cartoon Museum and also be sure to practice new drawing skills in outdoor settings whenever possible.
Please send your camper with layers of clothes and a brown-bag lunch. All supplies included!
Hours: 9am to 3pm, starting and ending at our studio located at Geary and Commonwealth. (Please note this camp is only 4 days -- Monday through Thursday ONLY, no camp on Friday.) Extended care is available from 3 to 5pm for an additional fee.

Package of five private lessons with a teacher at The Sketch Collective.
This package includes five private 1-hour lessons with either our head, workshop or special events teacher. The content and dates/times will be determined in advance of the first lesson. This opportunity will allow for personalized growth for a child, adult or a child/parent pair. All private lessons will take place at our light-filled studio, conveniently located at Geary and Commonwealth, or outdoors or at local museums or galleries. |
